At Masset, we believe in transparency, experimentation, and sharing our journey as we build our SaaS business in public. Each week, we provide an inside look at what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
This Week’s Highlights
New Feature: Custom Image Downloads
One of the most requested features from our users was the ability to download images in different sizes and formats. This week, we rolled out custom image formats for downloads, allowing users to configure JPEG and PNG options based on their needs. This should help teams distribute production-ready files more efficiently.
Performance Upgrades for a Faster Experience
To support the new download feature and improve overall usability, we made backend infrastructure upgrades. Previews now generate faster, and users should notice improved performance across the platform.
Refining the Website and Creating Better Content
With any new website, there’s always room for improvement. We’ve been making refinements to enhance the user experience and are also working on video-based guides to make it easier for customers to learn how to use new features. Expect to see more instructional content soon.
Why We Ditched Cold Email Outreach
We experimented with outbound cold emails as a marketing channel, but it didn’t sit well with us. Despite working with a reputable team, the results weren’t compelling, and it felt misaligned with how we want to grow Masset. Instead, we’re shifting our focus to content-driven growth—creating valuable resources, engaging with our audience authentically, and sharing our story in ways that resonate.
Doubling Down on Content Strategy
We believe in the power of storytelling and that 95% of your target audience isn’t ready to buy today. Our job is to provide value consistently so that when they are ready, Masset is top of mind. We’re exploring new ways to amplify our content through podcasts, articles, and strategic distribution to reach the right people at the right time.
